What’s on my TiVo for this TV season

October 1st, 2006

I’m a little behind on my TV. The new season just sort of snuck up on me. Luckily my TiVo is more alert than me so it has already started recording some of my favorite shows. I just had to fill in the new shows. At the same time I decided to clean out some of the old ones. Desperate Housewives and LOST have been moved to summer this year. I don’t care enough to watch Desperate Housewives during the season and LOST was much easier to watch during the summer (as I did with season 1) when I can watch two or three shows at a clip.

Here are the shows on my TiVo for this season:

Not much Michael on next season of LOST

September 5th, 2006

When we last saw Michael on LOST he was floating away on a boat, leaving his friends held captive after he helped get them there. Needless to say, many people hoped that he would eventually get what’s coming to him. I was just hoping he was going to be off the show. I never liked him and he latest antics didn’t help change my mind.

Well, it looks like I may get my wish. Harold Perrineau, who plays Michael, has signed on for a few movie roles. Of course, there’s no reason that he can’t come back or even squeeze in some work here and there. But you figure if he’s taking multiple movie roles, he’s probably not needed on set in Hawaii that much.

Interestingly, one role he has is in the sequel to 28 Days Later – the British quasi-zombie flick.

“It’s called 28 Weeks Later and Perrineau will play an American Special Forces pilot who has to bring families back to London after an infection of ‘rage’ nearly wiped out the population. Of course, the virus rears its ugly head again.”

Here’s hoping we get to see Michael torn apart by zombies.
