  • Mocking “Family Guy” network FOX’s bad judgment, pointing to how it canceled the show twice!
  • Cameos by one of the Jetsons and a Muppet
  • A really freaky hybrid of a Tauntaun and a deceased comedian. It’s rather disturbing.
  • CG ships and AT-ATs
  • Stewie as a really cute Vader
  • “Something Something Dark Side” will hopefully air on Christmas, but that’s dependent on how much of it they get done. Genius takes time, people.

One other interesting note: “You WON’T see the ‘Family Guy’ abortion episode because it’s going straight to DVD. FOX encouraged them to produce the episode, but are too afraid to air it.”

They are definitely better than NBC ever was and probably better than FOX, who gets points off for that stupid animated gopher (Digger) they shoved down our throats each week. I’m not sure they are quite as good as ESPN, but I’m partial to Dale Jarrett.

Wherever TNT ranks is mostly due to Kyle Petty, who has really become a pleasure to watch. He’s knowledgable, fun, and not afraid to give his opinions. Whatever the situation with Bill Weber, his suspension and the bump up for Ralph Sheheen has proven to be a blessing in disguise. The combination of Sheheen and Petty are magic, and easily carry Wally Dallenbach who has improved but is still the weak link.

The one issue I have with TNT is how quickly they end their broadcasts. Perhaps instead of two hours worth of prerace we could have 30-45 minutes of prerace and 30-45 of postrace. It would be nice to talk to more than one or two drivers, maybe see the updated points race, and even get a little analysis of the race we just saw.

Until we get that from TNT I can’t call them the top NASCAR broadcasters. But hey, at least there’s no Digger.

It was a little long, but if you’re the type that likes to have everything wrapped up nicely you’ll like the finale a lot. Either way it had a great battle and some nice scenes at the end with the remaining favorite characters.

While I thought the series ended at a good time, it’s not like the show is ending completely. In addition to the coming spin-off, Caprica, it looks like there’s another TV movie that gives the Cylon perspective. See the promo below.
