Now they’re remaking Thundercats too?

I’ve just created a new category for my blog. It’s called “Please be false.” I went back and added the rumored Lois Lane spin-off movie to that category. I had to do it after reading on Ain’t It Cool News that the WB is remaking the 80s cartoon Thundercats.
OK, the Transformers movie looks awful, but it pales in comparison to this rumored move.
It’s set on modern-day Earth. The characters are teenagers in this one.
Wait, it gets better …
Snarf is now their leader.

And “when they aren’t fighting evil, the Thundercats play together as a rock band.” Yeah, seriously.
Again, I really hope this isn’t real. Please, God, let this be fake. I can’t take another raping of one of my childhood favorites.
