Val Kilmer was Doc Holiday in Tombstone. The best character in a great movie. Val Kilmer was Ice Man. The best character in a … well, crappy movie – but a huge movie that almost everyone has seen.

He was Batman, John Holmes, and Jim Morrison. He was in Heat, Willow, and Real Genius.

And now he’s signed on to do the voice for KITT in that horrible remake of a show that really wasn’t that good the first time around? Jesus, man, fire your agent. Hell, the WGA strike is over so this show isn’t even likely to make it more than a few episodes.

Most of the commercials were really bad again this year. I think the SalesGenie.com one with the pandas was even a little racist. My favs, and really the only ones worth watching again, were the Bud Light one with Will Farrell and the T-Mobile spot with Charles Barkley and D-Wade.

Today we were reminded of this. We said “well, the Giants defense is great but the Patriots are just too good on offense.” We were wrong.
