Steelers’ Parker signs four-year extension
The Steelers aren’t a team that is quick to hand over the cash, but it looks like they are going to do the right thing with Willie Parker. They just signed him to a four-year, $13.6 million extension with a $3.75 million signing bonus.
After needlessly stringing out the Hines Ward deal last year, it’s good to see they are going to take care of an important part of their Super Bowl team. And I’m sure it helped Parker’s case that Bettis retired and Duce doesn’t look ready to be the feature back anymore.
