Bucs Cut Antonio Bryant … To Go Younger?
Bucs coach Raheem Morris says our best WR, arguably our best offensive player, is gone because “we’re going in a young direction.”
Um, OK. So we’re cutting a very productive 29-year-old WR, but we’re keeping Michael Clayton who is a 27-year-old WR who’s been nothing but a disappointment after his rookie year?

Lotus Introduces a Hybrid Concept Car

Lotus Evora hybrid
Lotus joins Porsche and Ferrari in introducing hybrid concept cars. It’s companies like this that could really make hybrids cool.
And why not, these engines produce a ton of torque. This Lotus, in fact, would have a a zero to 60 mph time of less than 4 seconds.
On the heels of announcing a hybrid power train for the Proton car company, Lotus released details of its own hybrid Evora concept. The Evora is the latest model from Lotus, and is slightly larger car than its other models that retains the company’s sport driving capabilities. The Lotus Evora 414E Hybrid uses a newly developed series hybrid system, with an electric motor driving each rear wheel and a range extender internal combustion engine topping off the lithium polymer battery as needed.
Similar to the upcoming series hybrid Chevy Volt, the Evora 414E Hybrid will be plug-in capable, so owners can charge the battery over night. On a full charge, the car can travel 35 miles before the range extender engine kicks in, giving it a full hybrid range of more than 300 miles.

Poor Tebow. First he gets crushed in one of the biggest games in his career. Then he’s shown crying on national television.
Maybe God couldn’t see the scripture under his eyes because of all the tears.
Atlanta Falcons head coach Mike Smith involved in another fight with opposing players
I’m not a Falcons fan, but I actually like their coach Mike Smith. I also think DeAngelo Hall is a huge D-bag who needs to be popped.
That aside, this is the second time Smith has been involved in a scuffle with opposing players. I know he says “I’m always going to have my players’ backs and I’m going to take care of them” and I’m sure his players think it’s cool, that it makes him a real “take no crap” tough guy.
But neither he nor his players better be outraged when a player decks him. I don’t want to hear any crap about how it’s despicable that a player dared lay a hand on him. If he wants to be a tough guy, go ahead. I think it’s cool too. But sometimes tough guys get punched.
